Staying at Benesse House: Museum Access & Perks 2026-27

Staying at the Benesse House hotel includes free admission to the museum and the Hiroshi Sugimoto gallery, open for viewing until 11:00 p.m.
The official guest-benefits page also says that from April 1, 2027, guests can visit eligible facilities without buying tickets or making advance reservations. The hotel is fully closed from January 12 to 18, 2027. Everything below comes from Benesse Art Site’s official pages, checked on 5 November 2026. We could not find room prices on the pages we read.
What Guests Get

- Free museum admission, including the Valley Gallery, and the Hiroshi Sugimoto gallery, are included in your stay.
- Viewing until 11:00 p.m. The official page says both are open for viewing until 11:00 p.m. for guests.
- A guest-only bus. The route runs between Miyanoura Port, Naoshima (Honmura) Port Pier, Benesse House Park, Benesse House Museum, Lee Ufan Museum and Valley Gallery, and Chichu Art Museum. It is for hotel guests only. The fare is not stated, so we cannot confirm it is free. The timetable is a PDF on the official site.
- From April 1, 2027: guests can visit eligible facilities without buying admission tickets or reserving ahead, according to the official page. Which facilities count as eligible is on that page, so check it before relying on it for Chichu.
Finding Naoshima Note: Until April 2027, the usual ticket rules still apply at Chichu, which requires a date and time. Do not assume your room booking replaces a Chichu reservation before the new rule starts. Our Chichu ticket guide covers how to book.
